Yam3ah operates the UAE handmade marketplace at ym3ah.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information when you use our platform.

From buyers:

• Name, email address, and phone number when placing an order
• Delivery address including emirate, area, and street details
• Order history and payment method preference

From sellers:

• Full name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number
• Business name, city, and type of business
• Bank account details for payouts (collected at onboarding)
• Product listings including photos, descriptions, and pricing

• To process and fulfil your orders
• To contact you about your order status via phone or WhatsApp
• To send order confirmation emails
• To process seller payouts
• To improve our platform and customer experience

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Yam3ah does not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS in the EU region. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We restrict internal access to your data to authorised Yam3ah staff only.

We share limited personal data with sellers solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order (e.g. your delivery address and phone number). Sellers are bound by our Terms of Service and may not use your data for any other purpose.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

Yam3ah uses essential cookies to maintain your session and cart. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

Yam3ah is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Yam3ah after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
